Deluxe Box beinhaltet auf vier CDs und einer DVD über vier Stunden bisher unveröffentlichter und rarer Hendrix-Tracks: 45 Tracks - Unzählige Hits, Live- und Studioaufnahmen - sind hier
versammelt, darunter Demos und Alternate Takes von Songs der Alben "Are You Experienced", "Axis: Bold As Love" und "Electric Ladyland".
Zum ersten Mal kommt der Fan in den Genuss von Songs "Hear My Freedom", "Hound Dog Blues", "Lonely Avenue", akustischer Solo-Versionen von "Long Hot Summer Night"
und "1983 (A Merman I Shall Turn To Be)", Live-Mitschnitten aus Berkeley, dem legendären Auftritt der Band Of Gypsys im Fillmore East vom Dezember 1969 und Hendrix' Coverversion des Dylan-Songs
"Tears Of Rage". Abgerundet wird das Package durch eine 90minütige DVD mit der Dokumentation "Voodoo Child". Der Film entstand unter der Regie des Grammy-Preisträgers Bob Smeaton und ist als
autobiographisches Werk zu verstehen.
